Events

During the year, we host a number of Passionist Religious Life Weekends. Most of these are held at our retreat house in Crossgar, County Down. The Weekend normally begins with an evening meal at 6.00 p.m. on Friday and ends with lunch at 1.00 p.m. on Sunday. Mass is celebrated each day and there is also time for parts of the Divine Office, Eucharistic Adoration, and personal prayer and reading. Each weekend has a theme related to Passionist Religious Life. Themes include the Call of Christ, the Religious Life in the Church, the Life and Teaching of the Paul of the Cross, and Priesthood in the Passionist Congregation. Before enrolment for the Weekend, participants normally should be recommended by a member of the Vocation Team or by another Passionist priest or brother.
